We are in our mid 30's and like sun, beach and "secret" spots--not too touristy. We will be there for only 4 days and 3 nights--flying into Rome and driving South. Any suggestions of itinerary, places to stay, restaurants, beaches would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jacques

  1. Ravello, sigh...

  2. Ravello, Amalfi and Positano are all nice places.

No big beaches in this area but Amalfi has a small beach.

I stayed in Amalfi last year and lived at a small and nice hotel

named "Il Nido" just outside the city. We hd a fantastic seaview there!!

The roads are narrow and zigzag-like...

A good tip for driving is to head over the mountains when going north-south instead of driving along the coast.

I wish you a nice trip to one of the nicest areas of all Italy!
