Which towns/cities is it easy to find temprary work in?

I've just finished as a student, and have ended up in Huddersfield. I want a job over the summer. Problem is, the job market is not too buoyant here.

Anyway, I'm a free agent, and can go where I like, and so can travel anywhere in Britain. Accommodation shouldn't be too difficult either because all the universities have empty rooms over the summer, so I can get short-term digs in any part of the country.

So, does anybody know any towns/cities where it is easy to find a job (i.e. places with full employment or something pretty much like it).

p.s. perhaps someone knows an employment agency in a particular town that are guaranteed to have jobs available (e.g. factory work etc - I'm not fussy).

In London , there are a lot of temporary positions for catering staff, **** pay but you work at a different place everyday, you just have to show you have worked in some service industry before. People Now and Berkley Scott are 2 big ones, but im sure there are others.

I would imagine at this time of year any British seaside town would have temporary work available. Failing that the post office like temps at xmas and in the summer to cover annual leave and extra post.

try signing on with a agency they can normally find you any work, or go to the job center look on their jobs list
