Try to drive north as well.  There are some lovely sleepy little towns.  Broome is nice.  I can't recall all of the names of the places I visited but it was really fun.

Your question is more than a little vague. If you have time you see them all, there aren't really that many. Definitely include Bunbury, Bussleton, Margaret River, Albany and Esperance in any sight seeing trip.

I agree with Ranjeeh , but also i love Pemberton and Manjimup, really depends what you want to see where you are travelling from and where you are going to.

If you were doing a round trip from Perth I would travel the coast down then inland back up or the other way round to see many different towns. There is so many different contrasting areas to see down south of WA.

I work in a visitor centre in Pinjarra Western Australia and there are a lot of places you can visit down south it depends what you want to see and do

You dont say where  you are coming from, if your first stop is Perth go in to the W.A visitor centre in Forrest Place they have heaps of info and brochures there, as you travel south stop in to a few along the way they can give you more info as well as looking at the towns you stop at . I would go the inland route it is more scenic and more towns to look at do go to Pemberton, you can climb the Glouster tree and wonderful bird life in forrest, Denmark , have the tallest trees right down to walpole where you can walk over the forrest, Busselton and veiw the ocean sights 10 metres down through glass lots more but you need to stop at places and find out more

To live: Depends on the lifestyle you want and the type of work you can do, or if your retired, and how much you can afford.

I say visit Busselton, Dunsbrough, Margret River, DonnyBrook, Bunbury,Albany,Pemberton.
