  1. Most autograph sessions are at Merch. Trailers. You have to walk around and look to see which ones have the signs up. The most popular drivers usually do theirs in a Pit Club. Like at Richmond it is called the Green Flag Party , you get to meet a driver, eat , drink and go to the pits for $90. Or that is what I paid in May. You may not always like the driver but you can get some cool autographs in the pits too. I have chocolate myers...from Dale Sr.s old team.

  2. At Texas and Atlanta, (my last two races)  it is usually at the different drivers merchandise trailers early the morning of the event. The more popular drivers have tickets handed out a day or so in advance. Other drivers just show up.

It is worth noting that Dale Jr generally does not do autographs at races.  I asked a track official and he said it would be too big of a security concern. Too many people in to small of an area.

If you really want to know, call the drivers company.  I was looking for a certain Brian Vickers shirt a few weeks back, I called the contact us number on his website, some guy answered and took care of me with no problem.  So if you want to know about your favorite driver, just call HMS, or RYR, etc and find out.

  3. In the NHRA- National Hot Rod Association-, there are autograph sessions at every track.  Matter of fact, you can remain in the pit area throughout the event. There are 24 national events across the US each year.  Starting in Pomona California in February and ending in the same location in November.

  4. Tracks don't host autograph sessions.  If you have passes, sometimes a driver will sign at a hospitality function belonging to one of their sponsors.  But, usually a few drivers will sign at their souvenir haulers (check with the hauler and they will let you know).  Some do it randomly and some do it every raceday (Casey Mears, Reed Sorenson, Robby Gordon, etc...)  If you get pit passes, you may be able to catch a driver that way as well.

The only other thing is to listen to the radio/check the paper for driver appearances in the area.  Typically these are the Thursday before the race.  For example, Carl Edwards will sign at an Office Depot.  Occasionally Tony Stewart will sign at a Home Depot.
