Probably speeding, drunk driving. there's a new law in cali where drivers can't have pets on their laps while driving or they get pulled over. That will probably be #1 in California

i think that a lot of people exceed the speed limit and also use their Mobile phones while driving. Many people don't wear their seat belts at the place i live. "Why shall i? Its just a 15 minutes drive from here", they say. They don't seem to notice that they are risking their lives for those 15 minutes for absolutely no reason except for the lame excuse that "its not comfortable". these laws are set for their own safety you know.

Where I live it's signaling and speeding.  

People tend to go 15-20 km/h (10-12 mph) faster  that the speed limit on residential/side roads, and about 25-30 km/h (15-18 mph) on most roads, but Some of our freeways, people tend to go about 40 km/h faster.

Speeding may be the most frequent violation, but failing to get out of the left lane and keep right may be the most dangerous, leading to frustration of other drivers and the consequent road rage.

There is no cure for this unless the police are instructed to enforce the regulations and drivers are educated and penalized for violation of the rule.
