Which trainz game is the newest and with the best array of trains and routes?

There are numerous "rail simulators", the newest being Kuju Rail Simulator which you can choose which area you want including the US, Great Britain, or Germany.

Next up is Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 by Auran, to me this game lacks alot becuase it is very hard to download freeware, and all the routes arent complete you have to pay 20 bucks to get the rest of the route, induvidually.

And as the above answerer mentioned Microsoft Train Sim, I have never tried RailSimulator, but have tried MSTS and will say with the amount of freeware one can get, I am impressed. info is at http://www.microsoft.com/games/pc/trains... plus if you click the official site, it will take you to the site of the new Microsoft Train Simulator 2 which is due out next year.

You can get add-ons for MS Train Simulator which include realistic rolling stock and scenery for e.g. the West Somerset Railway.
