Which travel destination is more fun? Acapulco or Cozymel...?

Thinking of a fun location to visit for my birthday in July.

Both places are hot and humid in July and frequent rain storms in both.

Because of the sheer number of hotels you can almost set your own hotel price.(Acapulco)

I can name a few in Aca but that's another question.

Both places are recommended and both have treated and chlorinated tap water but best to avoid drinking it.  Purified water is $2.00 for 4 gallons.

There are so many more thing to do in Acapulco and if you want a place a little quieter then its Cozumel.

Mexicans do their best to entertain their guests in both.

Acapulco is much larger that Cozumel but fewer people in July

So many thing to do in both places at a price you I am sure you will like.

Acapulco has a 10 km 4 lane(Costera) that hugs about 7 km of the bay.

The cliff divers perform daily at "La Quebrada" and dive some 150 ft with flares in their hands.

The bargain in Acapulco is in "Caleta" at the west end of the "Costera" --buffets for $5.00 and a buck for a beer at "Cindys" or the Mitla--both are safe and "Very Mexican"
