  1. swamis answer is perfect

Depends on the size and where it is.

    And what the time is.

a tree has many residents ,but even more visitors that visit at regular times ,so as not to be confronted with enemies or competitors that are more aggressive than they are ,so their exists a schedule with specific times for specific animals

    this is called scheduling

generally a tree that bears fruit ,and has many nooks and crannies

the huge redwood pines have about 8 levels of different flora and fauna on it

very old mangoes have also many things ,like aerial plants ,mosses, lizards monkeys, birds mushrooms ,ant houses ,squirrels, snakes, great variety of bugs, vines,

So climate is also a factor

A big tree is a world of life

    the fauna are called agents

because generally their existence is interrelated with the life of the tree

such as seeding ,pollinations , planting(squirrels, birds)

getting rid of the rotten fruit, etc

and also a lot of life ,lives or visits under the tree

such as wart hogs ,deer ,partridge ,pèacocks, wild boar. etc ,that visit at regular and specific times ,to eat what has fallen.

and all of it goes when the tree goes
