Both brands seem to be highly voted for from some research on yahoo! answer. I want to know which one would be best for for a tv sized 22"-26". At least under and or around $600. And works well with a gaming systems like Ps3 or Xbox360.

  1. Sony does not actually make LCD TV's, in fact, they never have! Sony's LCD TV's are actually made by Samsung though a recent partnership announcement will have Sony sourcing some TV's soon from Sharp.

Save your $ and buy a Samsung set. In fact, since it's for gaming, I'd suggest you look mostly at price and even consider the taiwanese suppliers. There are few differences amongst smaller LCD TV's at the middle price range. Avoid the bottom of the price ranges as these are based upon inferior liquid xtal technology.

  2. i just bought a samsung 46" flat screen and its wonderful

  3. samsung all da way

  4. Sony ---My opinion!

  5. Sony

  6. Get Samsung it's really good, I have a 48" LCD TV and it's amazing! Also if your getting a TV you should always get an LCD and never a Plasma because the tube in the TV will get damaged so then the TV wont work and it's a waste of money! So it's pretty much worth spending your money on a Samsung LCD TV (Sony is a popular and exclusive company but they don't have much features)! So I hope this helps you, also you can go to future-shop, bestbuy, Visions, etc... to get more information about which TV is more interesting!

  7. I would go with Samsung. I sold electronics for 2 years on commission and Samsung is just as good and you'll overpay for the sony name. Some of the bigger TVS we sold by Sony actually had screens made by Samsung...

  8. i've had a sony and Samsung and the sony lasted longer and overall the were the same. But if you want a TV for a long time go with the sony
