Which tv should i buy lcd or plasma??

i see a 42 inch vizio plasma for$727

42 inch dynex plasma for $699

42 inch dynex lcd for $799

which is better plasma or lcd and would you recommend 1 of these 2 brands over the other?

Since all prices are similar, the plasma is the better choice between lcd or plasma.

The Vizio will be the better brand, especially being a plasma.  The Vizio brand has a very excellent rating for picture and is considered one of the leaders in hdtvs.  The dynex is not.

If you are talking about the vizio plasma from walmart, then that is the best choice.  The only problem Vizio tvs have is that the sound quality is slightly lacking.  I would recommend looking at a cheap surround sound system at walmart for your tv.

The big difference between the lcd and plasma are the contrast ratio, and that is what really matters.  The higher the ratio the the clearer the picture.
