  1. DENMAN is indeed by the stallion Presenting out of the mare Polly Puttens.

However I disagree with the first answer, as DENMAN is NOT a British-bred horse.

Presenting has stood his entire stud career in Ireland and, as you can see with Denman's suffix, he was born in Ireland, having been bred by a Mr O'Flynn.

If you look up Polly Putten's breeding record you will see that every foal she has produced has been conceived and born in Ireland.

It is fair to say that DENMAN is an Irish horse through and through, so far as breeding is concerned.

The definition of a British-bred horse is not just about where the horse was born, but where the horse was raised and where the mother was ordinairly resident.

  2. Denman was sired by Presenting dam is Polly puttens

  3. same as the 2 above

  4. Denmans sire is Presenting and his dam is Polly Puttens. His dam's sire was Pollerton.  All are british horses.
