Which two insects or small animals are you fascinated with, and why???

frogs and turtles cause they are cute and they dont have hair like dogs and cats and they arent nasty bugs or even nastier rats.

Jumping spiders. They are incredibly smart for their size.  It was unnerving how this huge spider would peak at me behind a shower curtain waiting for me to leave.  

Shrews:  I watched one North of Pierre, SD running on the water as it looked for food near the shore.  He wasn't much over an inch long but super fast.

Spiders and beetles -

These are the two most commonly found world over and so many different species.

They provide free of cost service to man kind.

We have lot to learn from spiders and we are still learning from them. Like the web of the spider is one of the most strongest material on earth and scientists are trying to replicate it.

Beetles are the most abundant of all insects species. Their skeleton and strength if understood properly can too benefit human kind.  

Spiders play an important role in controlling insect populations. An arachnologist (a person who studies spiders) in the United Kingdom once calculated that the weight of insects eaten by spiders in that country every year exceeded the weight of the people who live in the U.K.
