Which two maternity laws am i governed by, Trinidad or Jamaica, if any?

I am contracted to a Trinidad based company, however, I am Jamaican and I work and reside in Jamaica. My contract does not refer to maternity leave, but I would like to know which country laws would I be governed by, if any, as it relates to maternity leave. I am ready to have my child and I just want to be on the safe side.

NB. I have been with the company for a year and seven months.
