I HATE cats...sorry to all the cat lovers here lol. Plus I'm allergic so that doesn't make it much better. But I love dogs...mainly big ones! =]

I love both cats and dogs. But I think dogs are much better. Cats are somtimes evil. But dogs are nice and very protective.

i like dogs more than cats, way more. if you want a playful loving pet you should pick a dog. plus if you leave alone cat she/he will bite and never let you hold her and wont forgive you for anything but if you get a dog he'll nver let you down and he will always forgive no matter what!!

cats are more like self-efficient like if your not home all the time then a cat is fine...

A dog u have to make sure that u take outside through out the day...

so what ever works for u?

I love them both equally, just in different ways.

I'd pick a dog first though, just because I like responsibility and a challenge, they sleep by you in your bed and play and wrestle with you(some of the larger dogs), they are always there not just there when they want to be there, they are fun to play with and some can catch tennis balls and play Frisbee, I knew a dog that could play basketball(we'd throw the ball up in the air and he'd bounce it around on the tip of his nose, he was a Collie).

Don't get me wrong, its just personal preference, whatever you like best in an animal.

Cats are great to, they are really playful and fun to watch as kittens, as they get older they just like to be pet, and held sometimes, whenever they want to really, some adults still play with toys and they can be really fun, really they are just a big ball of fluff that wants to play and be there when IT wants to be, not when you want it to be, it depends on the cat, all their personalities are different, some love to be held and petted as adults, some are more independent and only want to be touched when they want it, some still act playful like kittens, some can be really loyal and be there for you when your hurt, my cat always did.

They are good and both have great qualities, like I said I love them equally, just in two totally different ways.

I've only ever owned cats, I've only owned two.

I want to own dogs though, I just love the responsibilty and how they are just the way they are, they are always there for you and I like that.

I will own both cats and dogs all throughout my life, I just think I could bond closer possibly with a dog, me and my cat had a VERY strong bond though.
