  1. Budgies. Regular Budgies. Well unless you want the English type but usually they're harder to find. Here's a tip: Make sure you know if it's a boy or girl once you have it. I got a parakeet two years ago and I thought it was a girl so I named it Maria. A few weeks later I was reserching Parakeets and found out that if their Cere (the colored thing about their beaks) are blue than it's a boy. If it's pinkish brown it's a girl. I changed his name to Mario. Parakeet = Budgie by the way. Some people don't know that. Good luck!

  2. I Have owned parakeets,  cocateils, and presently own a Love bird,  just one not two Love Birds.... Now if you want a close relationship with your bird or whatever species of bird you select it should be one.... parakeets can be so affectionate, very intelligent, and they  mimic you... mine was 8 yrs old when he died... Cocatiels can be swawky, when you don't have the time to pay attention to it.. you must remember to cover the cage every night anyway, but they are wonderful aslo, and affectionate and mimic too..... I used to cover the cage at night and play a recording on low, of different whistle tunes and he learned  pretty fast.... always have the wing feathers clipped back especially if you want to allow it to walk around or simply stay on your shoulders.... Birds are wonderful pets...

But think responsibly, again know your type, do your homework, research well.. then you'll find the right bird that will suit your personality.... enjoy!

Just to name a few names for birds incase you were interested ... Paco,  Figaro,  Piccolo  &  Petie My love birds name is Chichi..... your welcome...haha

  3. Geta a parrot.

  4. i have an umbrella cockatoo and she is soo lovey i lover her shes the best

  5. English budgies! great birds! Plus out of the options, they are the only bird that you can really finger tame. Their chirp is heavenly and they are very affectionate.

  6. Most people arent equiped to deal with companion birds.

The ones youve listed are MUCH easier then larger birds to deal with in the average home.

Personally, the most enjoyable ive been around is a Lesser Sulfer Crested 'Too.  But by no means would I ever recommend it for a first bird or even some people with experience....any 'too is very are difficult, especially when sexually mature.

**for the average home, the canaries are awsome!  Also,. I love the white java finches...they are gorgeous.  If you go one of these routes.. get a pair..they are great to watch and listen to.
