Question:

Which type of camcorder should I get?

I am shopping for a camcorder as a gift for my mother and am getting lost in all the choices. Please give me some suggestions! She will be using it mainly for recording her granddaughter so it doesn't need too many bells and whistles. As a matter of fact, the simpler to operate the better; and I would like it to be easy for her to make DVDs. I would also like to keep the cost at about $200 if possible. Thanks for the help!

  1. Check http://www.squidoo.com/CamcordersUnder20... or here http://www.squidoo.com/CamcordersUnder20...

If you are looking for simple, then look under the Flash memory category.

  2. This should help.

If you are around at 200 dollars then you probably know you can't achieve high  performances ir whatsoever.

However some of the best camcorders for that price have stable quality which should be sufficient enough.

Well if I were you then I would most undoubtedly take a look at the Canon MD160. It's the best one around for the price now.

However this camcorder does cost nearly 300 dollars. But I'm sure that if you find a good dealer, you can buy it new for less than 250 dollars.

Good luck and this won't let your mother down.
