I am interested in starting a dream job- my own restaurant. Would you rather eat more expensive food in a Sit down restaurant where the atmosphere is nice and all, or would you rather eat nice delicious less expensive sandwiches from a small restaurant that is basically just order what you want and chill outside?

For the outside restaurant I am feeling a city environment so like a grab a sandwich at night maybe after a night of clubbing or touring the city.

Just wondering- outside hangout or inside?

outside would be more intimate between strangers than outside by the way.

And the food would be Middle Eastern

  2. personally, i think that it should be inside/outside. like not too formal, but nice looking, where you feel like you can just order something to go. also, with seating for inside and outsied, that way, people will have a choice between the two.

  3. I like the sandwich and outdoor seating idea. But, what about during the winter?  No one is going to want to linger if they have to be outside.  Maybe indoor and outdoor seating?

  4. Chilling outside!  Its so much better for this day and age.  You'll attract a younger crowd during the day and the people who spent their money in the club on drinks will be able to get a bite if they get the munchies. =D Good luck hope I helped.=D

  5. Italian.. Yumm..

  6. I like good, simple food at a good price.  I have been to expensive restaurants but I only visit those occasionally.  I prefer the easy places where I don't have to worry about what I'm wearing, etc.

  7. inside would be easier to handle in unpleasant weather and might attract more customers in such weather rather than an eat-outside joint

dont overlook convenience to both yourself and the customers

    where's the kitchen?

how much space do you have to work with?

is it along a main street or do you have a whole block, parking and all?

if you dont have much space, you could consider like a sandwich bar type thing, but not just sangas!!

if you have a bigger space, go for more of a cafe

or if even bigger, if you have a whole building, then go for the restaurant

i dont particularly like a crowded cafe or resaurant, especially if its busy!!

i dont know if ive helped, but good luck!! do as much planning as possible, dont rush or get flustered/panicked/stressed...YOU WILL GET THERE!!!!

let me know how you go, id like to visit!!

  8. I really don't like to eat outdoors unless I am at an amusement park or fair. I would love reasonably priced indoor dining.

  9. I love going to The Ritz Carlton, its just so tasty and relaxing when you go there
