Which type of shade would be best for my patio given my specific conditions?

My wife and I have already collected a lot of information about the different types of shades available. But we wanted some clarifications about which one will be best for us because our patio is facing the trees - about 120 feet away. The sun comes in from the south west of our patio.

We have about 1.5 months of Spring + 2.5 months of Summer + 1.5 months of fall = 5.5 monhts of Patio time. It snows here heavily after that.

The shades should offer easy maintenance and survive the heavy winters.

Bamboo roll up shades look good, weather well and are easily removed to store for the winter.

I would use the bamboo shades all thou in the summer,  if it gets really hot they  start to fall apart in about 3 years and you can roll them up and store them till needed again..
