Which type of shoe would be better..

Question

Can you wear basketball shoes in volleyball?

or is it a bad idea..

If not, where can i get good, but fairly cheap vball shoes.

i only plan on playing this one season, so i'm not gonna be

pricey

I don't think its a good idea to wear basketball shoes to play volleyball because the sole of the bball shoes are different from vball.  Go to any footwear website and you'll see the difference I am referring too but if you are only playing this year and your team doesn't require a uniform shoe, then I wouldn't buy a new pair because it would be a waste of money.  Just know that your risking yourself because of the difference in the shoe.
