Which type of travel plug would you use in Cuba. I am from the UK?

and want to be able to use my hairdryer etc whilst abroad. Thanks

  1. Boots chemists sell a triple adaptor which can be used world wide. I invested in one years ago and would not be without it.


  2. All the hotel rooms have an hairdryer in them so you will be fine without taking yours, if you do want to get a plug you need a worldwide one which you can buy at either Asda or Tesco for about £6, have a fab time.

  3. Travel plugs are not necessary , in Cuba , If you can remember not to bend over and pick up your car keys.

  4. Cuba’s electricity is 110 volts, 60Hz, but most hotels and resorts have 220 volts. Electrical outlets take flat plug prongs. It's always good to check the resort's facilities as well just to be sure.

  5. You need an adaptor , in Cuba most power outlets are made for the American flat pin type plugs .
