  1. On every race, all teams are given two sets of  standard tyre specifications depending on the condition of the racetrack. They are either "medium & hard", "soft & medium", and "super-soft & soft" compound Bridgestone Potenza tyres.

The softer of the two specification at each race are marked by a white line painted in the base of the second from inside groove.

  2. bridgestone softer compound tyres as only this company is allwd

  3. Yeah they are correct and no Michelin already left F1 2 years ago.

  4. It's the soft compound.

  5. its the soft compound

  6. michelin............?

  7. like everyone said the soft option tire but as we learned last weekend so do the full wet tires

this is either a Renault so good that it can drive in soft drys through puddles or its a pic on a full wet with a white stripe in it the middle http://f1.gpupdate.net/en/photolarge.php...

    ofcorse i could be wrong

  9. The softer compound has the white stripe.  the call them prime in the garage

  10. The softer compound has the white stripe. Just to confuse us a bit more the teams don't call them soft and hard, the call them prime and option. Next team you are listening to the team radio option is the soft tyre and prime is the hard.

  11. The soft-compound tyres have white mark on them; these are performance tyres. These tyres typically put performance and grip ahead of longevity by using a softer rubber compound.

  12. The softer compound tyres.

  13. It's the soft or option compund DRY tyres. The rain tyres, both inters and full are not marked by a stripe.

  14. Yes, the soft compound tyres

  15. At each Grand Prix every team is given access to two specifications of dry-weather tyre. Unless conditions are wet, drivers must use both specifications during the race. A white groove on the tread of the softer compound allows spectators to distinguish which tyre a driver is on.

  16. the softer compound tires
