Which ukulele should i get and also is this the same tuning for a soprano ukulele?

A standard and a soprano are the same ukuleles.  The next step is a concert and then a tenor.  All the same tuning.  Most people tune their ukulele to standard tuning, which is GCEA.  G being the closest to your chin.  http://www.get-tuned.com/ukulele_tuner.p...

Go for the Lanikai LU-21 or 21C.  A little extra money but well worth it.

Get geared tuners...like on a guitar.  Lot easier to tune for a beginner.

Hi Lil

Same tuning for both ukelele, sopranao and standard. They are tuned to a C6  G-C-E-A.

In old vaudeville daysm the soprano was often tuned to A-D-F#-B

Your choice.
