Probably Dino Ciccarelli had the best career of the undrafted players after the Draft was instituted. In spite of the fact that Wayne Gretzky was not subjected to the draft. He was exempted from the Draft in much the same way as players before 1965 were exempt.

It has to be Martin St Louis. He wasn't drafted because of his size but he won an Hart Memorial, Art Ross, and the Rocket Richard.
