His Choices are :-Royal Honorary Colonel, of the Royal Wessex Yeomanry

Royal Colonel, of the 2nd Battalion, The Rifles

Commodore-in-Chief, of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary

Perhaps as Edward is deciding which uniform to wear he should think of this :-

On the 9th November L/cpl Jake Alderton was killed in Afghanistan

His father Keith said "he would not want to wear a stripe unless he served in action. That typified Jake's attitude and approach to life. "

Ps. I found this comment on a forum which refered to Edwards nephew ,

"At least James Hewitt's Little Prince has proved to be made of sterner stuff. Two Harriers shot down on a single Sandringham sortie is pretty good going. "

  1. Princess Anne is wearing  a Rear Admiral's uniform.  Since she was never in the Navy I find it interesting.  haw haw lol

Did you mean he shot down 2 Harrier jump jets?

  2. Maybe he could wear a pin striped suit and a bowler hat.

  3. You are very bitter but I hope nobody pulls your question because it is very interesting.  I believe your remark about James Hewitt is dodgy tho'.

  4. Edward dropped out of the Marines and did not serve so he should stick to wearing civilian clothes unless he joins up in one of the services. His brothers served, his father served,Anne actively goes out and does representational work for one of the branches,as well. And The Queen signed up during World War II and was a ,mechanic for the service.

Your quote about Hewitt was not very clever;it is insulting and hurtful to question another person's  parentage. Charles is Harry's father and you should leave it at that! People here have also posted questions about why Harry drinks so much...it's unthinking comments like the one about Hewitt that can really cause a person a lot of pain and lead them to destructive behaviour. People,it's time to think about the consequences of what is said or posted! You need to think beyond the need to post something that you may think is "clever" or "smart."

  5. How about a girl guide uniform? I think the little skirt would go nicely with his legs.

  6. I'm on to you...You're Prince Edward and you don't know what to wear,! Very clever...My advice to you would be the Commodore-in-Chief, of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary uniform.

  7. something respectful of his vital position in society. i love the admiral's hat with all the plumes and feathers. the symbolic value is excellent and memorable to children, especially.
