4 ANSWERS

  1. USC

  2. I would have to say Ohio, Texas, or Oklahoma

  3. 5 of the 7 Heisman's won by USC have been won by running backs.

5 of the 7 Heisman's won by Ohio State have been won by running backs.

However, the 5 USC trophies were won by 5 different players.  Ohio State's only by 4 because of Archie Griffin.

So the most Heisman winning RBs would be USC

Most Heismans won by a running back, it's a tie.

And as for Les Horvath's Heisman in 1944, he is technically listed as a QB.  However, that year he rushed for 932 yards and only attempted 32 passes all season.  So technically he was the QB, but he was really a RB.

  4. USC?
