Which upcoming NASCAR race will the France family have to pay for a Nationwide Series team to ..........?

fill out the Sprint series forty three starters? Will Morgan Shepard be the first? I mean, when he does limp into a race (God bless him), he does run at least three laps before parking.

Well it won't be this weekend.  There are 45 on the entry list.

None, they always have more attempts then slots.

None of them. The Cup series hasn't needed seat fillers for a few years. Last week, there were 44 cars that tried to get into the race for 43 spots. That's the lowest it has been in the last 3 years. There are 46 entries this week.  

Morgan does try to get in now and then, but that's for himself and the hope of some nice cash, not because the France family needs to fill a slot.  

The COT really hurt guys like Morgans chances of getting into a Cup race, Guys like him would use old cars and try to make their entry. With the COT, there are no used cars for him to buy and fix up. When the Nationwide series goes to the COT next season, he will be de completely wiped out of NASCAR. unless he drives the truck series.  

Independent guys like him just can't afford to build  one of those cars from scratch when they aren't running full time or have big time backers.
