  1. potatoes

  2. watermelon, cucumbers

  3. Beans are almost always hillled. Yes "hill of beans" is an old saying, but it is also how to grow them! :)

  4. Any vegetable which looks as tho it needs support for a start, such as onions, potatoes, even things like tomatoes, beans, peas and carrots - I think that you should get the the idea from now on. If your vegs are looking floppy around the base then hill up some dirt to support them.

Things like vine crops are usually planted in mounds and should not have to be hilled after as they just crawl on the ground. The other vegs are ones need to stand up and these are the ones which may need hilling up

Easy way to remember, plants which grow upwards may need support otherwise along ground - grow them in little mounds
