I have four children ages 4-8 who require booster seats. I currently have a Ford Explorer with third row seating. Beside a minivan, are there any other vehicles capable of holding us and all of our stuff? The Explorer is short on storage and a little difficult to get in and out.

  1. We have a Toyota Seqouiya (sp?)  I like it.  Lots of room.

  2. Trade in that Hyundai please !  And get yourself a Chevy Surburban with tv's for your children an then you can be pimpin up and down the road!  You can't pimp in a Hyundai peace out !

  3. Ford Econoline , seats 12 peeps

  4. I have a Tahoe and its very roomy. The 2nd row seats three and then the third row seats another 3. Put the 2 yonger ones in the 2nd row and the 2 older one's in the third row.

  5. we have a peugeot 806 and we have plenty of room in it with 4 kids. what we did was got was a roof box and it has been great for shopping and holidays. look it up on the net, you should be able to get pictures of it

  6. well we have 4 boys and we drive a minivan that I love, it drives like a car and has tons of room in the back for storage plus the seats fold down into the floor. Ours is a Kia Sedona which was also rated the safest minivan. We rented one when we went to Florida on vacationa dn we fell in love with it. When we got back from vacation we went and bought one. We love it, it has a sunroof and DVD player, auto everything leather seats, automatica doors where you push the button on your key ring and the doors open before you even get to the car. Love it!

Here is what it looks like

If you really are not into the minivan though I would say a Chevy Suberban is a good option. We used to have one and although it is a gas guzzler like all other SUV's it is very spacious.

  7. I have a Hyundai Sante Fe. Even though mine is only 2 rows they do offer one with 3. I love this thing and it has amazing storage. You could also try the Veracruz. The chrysler Pacifica, we found, was very nice.  And Kia just came out with one that is bigger, i can't remember the name of it, but it does offer 3 rows.

I was the Mini Van n**i. Anytime that was suggested i just laughed and said....no...that's not an option. So i definately did my research. Check out Consumer Reports also, i found that magazine very helpful.

    Good Luck!
