I have my permit test coming up soon, but someone quizzed me and asked

"If four (4) vehicles enter an intersection from four different roads at the same time, which vehicle must yield the right-of-way?"

I know the correct answer is "the vehicle on the right", but if you think about it each person has someone right of them... who goes first?

  1. The one who gets the "wave" from someone else that they can go?  haha I've been driving for 7 years and I'm not sure... sorry... :D

  2. i think the one turning right, or the one with the bigger car.lol

  3. Let the others go first if there is any question.     When driving,  approach every situation like you are the only one with a clue,   everyone else has a phone to their ear and their head firmly inserted.    Stupid people are easier to keep an eye on when they are in front of you,   and you are harder for them to run into.

  4. you have to give way to the vehicle coming from your right and the vehicle on your left side should give way to you. other vehicles don't matter - just the vehicles on your left and right.

  5. the one that doesnt give a ****.

  6. that is an assinine question. yeah umm the one who is in a hurry and doesnt care about other people.

  7. the person that got there first goes -

also, if anyone is turning right, it would be more likely the person to the left would see the directional and let them go.  solving the problem..

in any case, one would proceed slowly!

this probably happens alot in CT, i've never seen so many 4way stops in my life...

  8. then u play chicken.  although the odds of this even happening are very low

  9. who ever is in the bigger car ha ha my son ask me the same question.

  10. The alternating directions take turns.

In other words, north and south go, then west and east.

Those turning left yield to the car coming the opposite direction.

  11. Which ever person smashes on their gas and goes first.  This question will never me on the exam sweetie.

  12. Whoever got there first goes first (yes you are right about "right")

It's a road rule and one that is of moral conduct with all "good" drivers.
