Which vehicle should i buy for a family of 3?

Question

So my husband likes the chevy colorado crew cab and the toyota tacoma double cab. i dont really want him to get either because they have been out for a while and possibly new models might come out in a year or two so i rather would have him wait to see what the newer models might offer.

I on the other hand like the new honda CR-V and the Nissan Rogue

does anyone own any of these cars and recommend them? or are there other cars you guys recommend? which car is safer?(i have a 10 month old)

(by the way we already own a toyota camry so were not looking for anymore sedans)

the Honda CR-V is the best of your choices.

avoid the Colorado it's 5 cyl engine is neither fuel efficient or powerful.

the Tacoma is good truck but has an odd seating position, test drive it and see if you notice.

the Rogue is good vehicle based on the Sentra, it has some rear visibility problems and no room for cargo but other than that it's ok.

look at the Pontiac Vibe it's the twin of the Toyota matrix and sells for much less.

also drive a Kia Rondo it's the best value on the road today.

I my opinion, I would look at the new Chevy Tahoe Hybrid. It’s a great vehicle to have around if you’re mostly driving in the city. They can handle a growing family and mileage wise they are pretty good for a full size SUV, they get around 22 MPG in the city. Really good power, wonderful comfort. The other added benefit that you do not have with the Toyota, Honda and Nissan line is the On-star system. Not only can it call for help when you needed, but if the car is ever stolen, they can track it. You can also have the doors unlocked if you lock your keys inside.
