Which vehicle to choose?

I am fed up(or more giving up) I have always driven pickup and suv's. However gas prices are killing me!!! I am starting to try to think out of the box, for other options however I need some help. I have one real problem, I am big. Now when I say big I don't mean I am a little over weight. I am 6' 5" tall 300 Lbs, and therefore just don't fit well in most cars. That is always why I have drive bigger vehicles. What I need is something fuel efficient, resonably priced, and has the ability to not have me feel as though I am in a sardine can. I am proportioned so I need both head and leg room. Any help would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks

  1. Hyundai Santa Fe V6

it's big enough on the inside gets good city mpg and excellent mpg on the Hwy.

    04 $10,000

  2. If you have the money What about a Lincoln Town Car.  They last forever and in you get one that is only 2 or so years old they are a great buy.  They are big and not that bad on gas compared to an suv.

  3. get a nissan frontier there nice and roomy and they are trucks that get great gas milage. or get a mazda 3 they have alot of room.

  4. Have you looked at a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry? I think they would meet your needs but you should definitely sit in them to make sure you fit. They are not exactly small cars.

    Good luck.

  5. Try a Subaru. My sister is on the other side of 300 lbs from you (by a lot) and that is what she drive. She is not that tall, so you will need to sit in one to find out how comfortable it will be for you.

The Subaru cars in out family have all lasted over 100,000 miles. The sole exception was a 1979 that had its engine go sour on it due to the failure of a non - Subaru oil filter and later on some one vandalizing the transmission and gas  tank.

Other then that they all (five of them) have lasted over 250000 and counting.

  6. If you are planning on purchasing a new vehicle, consider a chrysler, jeep or dodge. they come with a lifetime powertrain warranty. Then you can upgrade to a full bumper to bumper warranty for LIFE!

  7. Chevy Silverado it has a lot of room and they now make them flexfuel.
