We have an Officiant, a Photographer, a Videographer, a DJ and a Limo Driver. Are we supposed to tip all of them? How much are we supposed to tip?

  1. Limo driver gets 15%, you don't tip your photographer or videographer.  The officiant likely has a fee (sometimes it's called a donation to the church), I'd say give about $100 for that.

Are you not having a reception?  Your caterer is likely going to include 15% gratuity in your bill so you shouldn't have to worry about tipping extra for that.  I've also heard that you're supposed to tip your florist, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

  2. Do not tip the officiant - there is a fee or a freewill donation (try $100-$150 if no guidelines are provided).

The Photographer, Videographer, DJ and Limo Driver: tip them only if they are not self-employed (if you are paying a company then tip them, if you're paying them directly then no tip is required).

Usually 10-15% is suggested, with the caveat that no one service person needs to receive more than about $150.

  3. Their "tip" is all the hundreds of dollars they are charging you for their services, I didnt tip any of them

  4. the officiant - 100 - mine told us that was his fee... um.. that is it then. We would have given him 100 anyhow... weird how he told us that was his fee.

the photog - 0 - you are already paying him

the videog - 0 - you are already paying him

the dj - depends on the original price... I am giving him 100 total

    limo driver - 20%
