Just listen to the messages and what is both stated and implied. Obama/Biden do NOT praise our land, our constitution, our great history, but draw attention to what is broken, what is not working, what is "WRONG" with America.

McCain/Palin praise our great land, praise and want to honor and USE our great foundation. Yes, we have issues, many of them self inflicted.

Obama/Biden are NEGATIVE, seeking to "re-write" or "undermine" our very constitutional structure, replacing it with socialism, new taxes, and their version of a new world order.

McCain / Palin seek to USE what we got. For instance, Pelosi is blocking legislation that would help us right NOW for political reasons, she is abusing her powers trying to twist the outcome of the election.

I say we live in a great land with a great constitution. Yes, we have issues, some of them self-inflicted by the democrats. But we don't need to blow up the constitution, we need to use it and force radical democrats to cooperate with everyone.

Are you tired of the negative messages from Obama/Biden? I am...we are not that broken.

  1. We are GREAT people who want someone to fix the NEGATIVE effects of our occupation of Iraq and the NEGATIVE effects of how the average income has gone down $2,000 under W.

If the surge worked, the terrorists would be worse off now than before. I think the terrorists are better off.

If the American economy was healthy, how come more and more of American jobs are going overseas? How come incomes are going down under W when they were going up $7,500 under Clinton?  How come gas was $1.46 when W took office in '01 and well over $3.50 now? How come food prices are up 10% and wages are not keeping up?

Under Clinton, the economy did much better. Incomes were up, and we retired 30-year T-bills. We had a budget surplus, and we were paying down the national debt. Under W, it all went the other way.

Obama's exactly who we need to make the negative things POSITIVE and restore our GREATness.

  2. your staring to sound like McBush... BTW your all wrong

  3. We live in a great country. We also live in a country that makes more mistakes and causes more harm to the world than any other country. This country, though great, is a joke at this point, all thanks to the Bush administration.

  4. It could be worse- freedom of speech is illegal in China, so I'd say the USA is pretty d**n sufficient to me.

    McCain/Palin08

  5. Your simply wrong. Obama always says we live in a great country. In fact all politicians say that, all the time. It makes me ill, in fact.

I think your onto something though - a good way to ignore every single issue of the campaign and make Bush and the Republicans not responsible for the mess we are in. Not bad. Uh, oil prices high, but America is great, just keep saying America is great! Anyone who doesn't like high oil prices is whiner and thinks America is bad!

I think the campaign should hire you. You are a great liar. You will go far.

  6. IMO even with all it's problems, it's still a great place to call home.

  7. We all need to create our own bumper sticker I did and I have received very good feed back. It says

We Love This Country Don't CHANGE it!

  8. The party out of power ALWAYS thinks the government is broken.

And believe me - after four years of President Obama, the American people will be hollering for "change" once again!

  9. Well, we do live in a great country, but it does have certain problems.

  10. That is the liberal Dem mentality. Everything is bad and the BIG government is going to fix it with your tax money. I DONT need the government to tell me how to live my life life....I already have parents.

  11. Look at it this way... productive people are too busy being productive and earning wealth for themselves to be bothered with tired leftish rhetoric.  Research shows that when Federal tax rates are 20% or below, productive people comply with the theft of their property without protest, I guess I would call it rational ignorance.  However, when the burden moves above 20%, their focus shifts to avoidance.  That's Atlas Shrugging for those of you in the know.

  12. That's what Democrats do.

  13. Well said!! a ten star question, the doom and gloom from the left is getting stale and boring to say the least.

McCain Palin will WIN in 08 over the old stale liberal doom and gloom machine

  14. A little of both , to be completely honest. Both the Democrats and the Republicans have had an equal hand in s******g up our great nation. You are not going to place the blame for what ails this country squarely on the so called " radical democrats. Nice try anyway !!!!

  15. Our president is an idiot and we are the number one contributors to global warming. Wow, I'm so proud of this country.

  16. i totally agree with you. This is a great country. 10 star question all the way

  17. there are negatives, but we live in a great country.

we know that we will have food on the table, a roof over our head, and clothes on our backs (most of us will have these).

while we have struggles and hardships every great nation does.

i think obama is playing on the emotions of Americans,  Yes it sucks to be in the position we are in, but we could be in a lot worse situations.  I'm not saying third world, but worse then what we have...

  18. Obama draws attention to what is wrong in America and millions of Americans have taken note of it. They have begun to think in ways that Americans have never thought before. That perhaps the US does not have some God-given right to dictate to the rest of the world how we live our lives.

There is a lot wrong with America and most of it plays out in countries far from your shores.

We in those far flung countries you don't teach your children about are all well pleased about Obama. We think he is a lot less likely to invade us (or our neighbours) than the old soldier!

  19. I live in a great country.

  20. You choose your definition of positive and negative.  To me, McCain says everything is great now and we shouldn't change a thing, which is patently false.  To me, Obama says, this is a great country.  Now let's make it better.

BTW, the only thing about the surge that worked is that we overwhelmed them with superior numbers.  What do you think will happen when we pull out?  Or do you think we should stay there forever?  In which case, what is your definition of victory?

BTW, latest reports are that personal after-tax income dropped by almost 2% last month.  3 million jobs have been lost in the last eight years.  The only way the unemployment rate has stayed "low" is by the Bush Administration monkeying with the numbers.  And the inflation rate was slightly over 1% last MONTH.  Do  you know what that works out to in a year?  Yeah, it's a healthy economy.

BTW, I agree that we are a great land today.  However, if something isn't done to stop our slide, we wont be for much longer.

  21. Why Peter you've become a pirate!

I can disagree on some of your points there. I'd rather a leader tell me what's wrong so I'll know exactly what's going on then to be shielded from the truth with praise of stuff we already know.

I want a leader whose going to tell me what needs to be fixed and what needs to be changed and the reasoning why it needs to be. Not a leader whose going to tell me the things I already know.

If the economy is so healthy, then please tell me why they are cutting jobs? If the economy is so healthy then please tell me why the dollar hasn't gone up in value? If the economy is so healthy then please tell me why I used to pay $50 for groceries for the month and now I can hardly afford them for the week? If the economy is so healthy then why are people having to sell their homes and move into smaller ones? If the economy is so healthy then why is the real estate market bust? Why are people struggling to pay bills? Why are so many people looking for jobs? Why do people who never needed food stamps before applying for them and being eligible to get them? And my favorite, if the economy is so healthy, then why do I pay $100 for gas for the week when that used to be enough for close to two months?

And that's just a few of our problems that you "rich" people seem to overlook! Our economy is in shambles and people like you lie just to make everyone else believe otherwise. Those of us who never had to live paycheck-to-paycheck before, have to now. In 8 years, our country went from being wealthy to being in pain. Where the rich people, like yourself obviously, don't see what the rest of see and feel.

It bothers me that you feel the need to have to hear the positive points in order to feel reassured about your country. It bothers me that you haven't been listening when Obama did make references in many speeches where he did say we lived in a great nation. It bothers me that you have to search for negatives about Obama in order to build up McCain when Obama supporters can just say what he's done during his campaign. It bothers me that you ask questions like this.

  22. Talking about how great the bodywork looks and the engine runs on your car as you fly along the Interstate with a blown-out tire doesn't extend how far you can expect to drive before you gotta fix something!

If "America" thought the GOP had been leading us in the right direction for the last 8 years, there wouldn't even BE a competition; the fact that so many polls by so many organizations suggest the GOP might be in trouble should be answer enough for your question.

  23. All I can say is this, GREAT JOB MCCAIN !!!

Not that the other potentials were not a good choice, PALIN is the perfect choice. Let's get back to basics and what this country once stood for.

    MCCAIN / PALIN '08

  24. Should always strive for something better than we are; complacency is a death knell.  So is negativity.  We need to believe in ideals and always strive to improve no matter which party is in power.

  25. America thinks we are still world leaders, without facing the fact that there are other countries on the planet who have got some really good ideas. Why is America so low in certain aspects of health care? Why does a European doctor have to run the same kind of "Helping Hands program that the US is or used to be known for...but the European is doing his charity work IN THE UNITED STATES! Why do we have children going without food--at night, at school, at all? Why did a well qualified teacher have to move half-way across country, just to get a job? Why do we have houses being repossessed by mortgage holders when there are people living in cars and under bridges?

Note this fact: at least when Bill Clinton lied, nobody ended up dead and only Hilary needed tissues -- how many thousands of families are grieving because Bush wants to have a secure financial base when he retires in a few months...
