  1. The Flintstones are good vitamins, or the "Long's drugs store" brand of chewables for kids are good also.

  2. it is best to talk to your doctor about giving your toddler vitamins.  i know a child who suffers from permanent liver damage from taking vitamins that were supposed to be safe for his age.  it would better to be safe than sorry and seek professional advice.

  3. When i ask my daughter's pediatrician about vitamins, she usually chooses one that best fits her.  For example, she used to be on Enfamil Trivasol, which has 3 vitamins in it, i think.  But then they switched her to Enfamil Polyvisol, which contains a lot of B vitamins.  I think she has been on the Polyvisol since she was about 18 months...and at her 2 year check up, they said she didn't need it anymore.  So, i think ANY multivitamin that is specially designed for infants and toddlers is fine...but you could always ask your doctor and see what they say.

  4. flintstones or the liquid kind

  5. At the age of 16 months, your pediatrician should be writing the prescriptions for vitamins. Check with him before you buy any.

  6. My son is 19 months.  Since around 14 months I have been giving him the Flintstones vitamins for toddlers.  They say they are for 2 and 3 year olds.  But that is just a guideline because of lawyers.

Before that I used Poly Vi Sol with Iron.
