All I need is a phone number that I can receive phone calls to home, to call locally, and to call a country in Asia (which can be done by calling card and other method). I'm looking at MJ but my area code is not available yet. Is Skype best to go? Subscription or pay as you go? Please share your experience and advice. Thank you.

I have Voip thru Globalinx and it's great.  Unlimited call anywhere in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Spain, France and China for $24.95.  If I travel, I can take it with me to use in the hotel too.  I also sent it to my cousin in another country and calls made to her is free, no international rates.  It's great.
