Which voters will Palin attract?

I know a lot of people are assuming that McCain picked Palin to try to get Hillary's women voters, but I've hear another theory. Is he trying to get the "bitter" voters "clinging to their guns and religion"?

Besides being a woman, the more you learn about her, the more it seems that could be the target group they are going after.
