ok, heres the deal. I like to play alot of different things such as: reggae, metal(not to heavy more like dragonforce) , blues, funk, classic rock and alternative. i need a wah pedal that is very, very versatile. i need a wah that will give me a good vocal sound when i want, a good psychodelic fell when i need it, the classic wah when i need it and the nice tropical feel when i need it. i like vox and crybaby's. should i choose from one of these or spend a ka-trillion dollars on a custom (which i doubt i could get cause im not a rock star). Please help! 10 points to the best suggestion, i promise.

  1. Crybaby just a plain Crybaby. You can use it for anything and it was the first wah pedal. I bought one and ive used it for years. Overdrive distortion feedback any effect can go with it. It is the perfect and most diversely used wah pedal

  2. I'd go with a Crybaby theres a ton of different models to choose from

  3. Get a Morley Bad Horsie created by Steve Vai. Wylde uses a Dunlop with a new gain control. Set you mids to 0 turn up your highs to 6ish turn your lows to about 8. Uses an old Ibanez ts-9 for overdrive (actually uses Russian made MiG fighter jet parts) get  a chorus pedal, any will work. A little delay and plug in your wah.

  4. The best one is the original crybaby like Hendrix and all the others at the time. I use that in the studio because of its cleanness which is very important.

If you get the cry baby, get the one with the adjustable gain and tone on the pedal.
