Which was more interesting or easier to read--the iliad or the odyssey?

I read the Odyssey this past year, in our advanced 7th grade class. I found it intriguing. I've never read the Iliad.

They tell such different stories.  Iliad is the story of the Trojan war.   The Odyssey tells the story of Odysseus' travels after the war ended and on his way home to his wife and kingdom.

If I remember correctly from my high school mythology class, I found the odyssey more interesting.

i liked the Illiad. and there was another book called 'the Aenead.' the book is about the end of the Trojan war. and the Trojan general takes some of the people and look for another land to live in. the book is about his travels. it coincides with the travels of Odysseus The Odessey' it was written by, Virgil

I would say the odyssey was easier and interesting.

The Iliad is better if you like war and action novels, but if you want a more fantasy and romance type book then Oddysey is better.
