  1. Iceland.

    nice people, perfectly clean water, volcanos, geysers, whales, hot pools, free geo-thermal power, blondes; like being on a lichen covered moon, no trees.

  3. France was gorgeous and the people were friendly which is contrary to everything I had ever been told.  I love history and everywhere you look was a building that was older then any building in the United States.  Had a great time and I will go back some day.

  4. Thailand..it has everything. The people are so friendly, scenery is fab... great beaches, nightlife and cuisine. Chiang Mai is such a relaxed city and a gateway to trekking into the mountains to visit hill tribes! You can even swim with rescued elephants!The Wats(temples) are amazing....I could go on forever.

  5. It's a toss up, Italy was lovely, lived in a tiny place in the mountains, sixty miles outside of Naples and it was so quiet and lovely. But then Athens is a fabulous, night-life type of place, with beautiful beaches and wonderful people.
