  1. There were brillant performances in the ipl ,like MCcullum's 158,sanath jayasuriya's 114,Marsh 115,Hussey 116,Symonds 117,,Gilchrist century etc but i would rate Ganguly's knock in their last match with Mohali. With 7o required of 5 overs Ganguly lead his team 2 victory. All the above performances i had mentioned where not pressure conditions.Mccullum was against Bangalore, rated as a test team,Jayasuriya's came against Chennai not at their best after Oram, hayden and Hussey left.Hussey ,Symonds ,Marsh all scored when their team batted first, and Gilly scored against Mumbai when they were without key players. But Dada scored against Punjab .And moreover he batted from the beginning till the end.He was a real leader that day.He was unbeaten,he knew he had2 bat till the end,so his the innings was calm and composed.,he hit light shots at the beginnign and towards the end he hit boundaries.70runs frm 4.5 overs means a run rate of 14is required, and with 6wickets down, its almost not achievable, but he had hope and he knew it was him who had to do it to make them well,,I would rate his knock as the best particularly towards the last 5 overs in tat game especially when Mohali boasts of Chawla,Pathan, sreeshanth,Vrv Singh all of who hav taken above 10 wickets.

  5. Sanatha Jayasuria's Smashing 114 not out hit against Chennai Super Kings! 11 sixes, 9 fours, absolutely Fabulous!!!

  6. The best got to be Brendan McCullums 158 no against RC.

Since the first game on home field RC never recovered and

it was a jolt given by him. 15 sixes - what an innings.

Beyond this, we did see some excellent batting from Marsh,

Jayasuriya, Ghambir, one innings from Gillly.

    But Brendan's 158 stands tall.

  7. Brendon McCullum's 158* against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on the 18th pf April 2008.
