  1. My nephew married last year.  The bride wanted to be married in the Ritz in London.  The wedding ceremony was very dignified.  The finger buffet reception after in the Ritz was superb.  Leaving the Ritz to go to Farringdon where 50 guests were treated to a very special wedding feast.  It was all very unusual and yet traditional.  I actually wrote a thank you letter to the bride and groom for organizing such a wonderful day.

  2. It was a while ago so I dont remember everything but the things I do remember that made it so memorable were - soooooooooooooooo much food, like tons. They also had a band, not a dj. The bride and groom didnt go to bed afterwards, they partied at the hotel bar with their closest family until dawn & we all went to brunch the next day.

  3. My sister's b/c she was finally able to legally marry her partner - they've been together longer than my hubby and I.

  4. It was in a country side, during the fall, between the falling orange and brown leaves. The air had smelled so fresh, and it was silent as the bride and groom took their first kiss as husband and wife. Then it broke into cheers! It was so fun, because we bathed in a big swimming pool and ate international food. Since the bride and groom's initials were both m, there were ice-cream m&m cake. Totally yummy. I could tell that the bride and groom also had fun, since they didnt even sit, except when they ate!

We had total FUN! Also, the dance in the moonlight was CRAZY FUN! there was actually an area where there was a good hearty FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!!! it was awesome! the bride and groom got soaked in their own cake! And I don't think the bride was too upset that her gown got drenched. Over night, the guests stayed at the lodges near by. The reception ended at 3 in the morning. And it was a day which I would never forget!

What made it so special was that the bride and groom made it the best days of their life, and they had fun and all, without the care of having everything "perfect" and clean. They just made the day FUN, for both themselves and the guests!

  5. A friend of ours had the most beautiful wedding! It was at the Enchanted Forest, it was so beautiful like something out of a fairy tale. It had a pond with swans in it, a beautiful rock castle! Oh it was breath taking. The ceremony was filled with love and laughter. The bride and groom looked like a prince and princess. The Reception was wonderful and very nice and relaxing listening to the water fall and soft music background. We danced in till the sunset. Beautiful and breath taking.

  6. My future SiLs!!! The cermeony was in our church and the weather was beautiful so the light was streaming in the huge side windows. The music was simple, the ceremony was simple and meaningful and the decor was beautiful. The reception rocked too! The food was great, the music was amazing, everyone was dancing and mingling, there was tons of laughter and fun, they had an ice cream bar with dessert and they had great options for toppings. I think everyone will write that one down as one of the BEST weddings ever! Alot of the fun came from the fact that it was a formal occasion but everyone let loose at the reception. When people let their hair down and are confortable than the fun factor definitely goes up!

  7. um.. prob. our 2 best friends, it was special b/c they got married!

  8. I haven't been to that many, but I think my favorite was my uncles.  It was on a restaurant that was situated on the waterfront, and it was a warm summer night.  It was just a very romantic atmosphere.

  12. my best friends it was a right hoot.it was in a hotel and we were told to be there an hour early.well when we got there there was this waiter in a tux etc serving drinks and his hands were shaking and he kept spilling the drinks we put it down to nerves.then he started collecting trays of glasses and kept tripping over his feet dropping them,we tried not to laugh but then he dropped a presesnt and he shook it and it was in bits we all cracked up laughing.then it turned out we had been set up.this bloke charged £800 and he was a comedy entertainer he interrupted the wedding all done up in a wedding dress and said the groom had promised to marry him not her he said pointing at my friend.he entertained us all through the wedding breakfast and he was brilliant.definetly the best wedding i have been to.

  13. The most fun I ever had at a wedding was one I attended in Florida for a friend who is in the Navy.  They had their reception at a hotel on the beach, outside on the patio.  It was gorgeous!  Overlooking the ocean, they had twinkle lights all along the rails and tables set out on the sand.  They had a steel drum band that played during dinner and then a dj that played the best music ever.  I seriously danced all night!  I think I left the dance floor twice to refill my drink!  It was great because it was beautiful, but still laid back!

  14. The one in Vegas, of course!  What made it special?  It was Vegas!

  15. My youngest brother, because I was the best man and I delivered a very funny speech.

My brother wrote a song and sang it for his bride. And taking the wedding pictures at the beach was fun.

was high on a mountain top.
