  3. Well the Chinese first invented gun powder by working with fireworks, but then later they saw what they could do with it and made primitive weapons like cannons that shot arrows. And actually in the Beijing weapons muesum(sp?) there was actually a wooden bazooka that shot out arrows.

    It was only through trade that the Spanish got a hold of gunpowder and then they started producing it themselves. The Spanish perfected this like rifle gun and were the first to actually use metal bullets. They were like steel marbles. And the first major use of guns were during the conquistador's invasion of S. & N. America.
