  1. I'm a hydrologist, not a paleontologist, but if I remember from school, you're talking about the meteor impact/volcanic eruption that happened 65 million years ago (the K/T mass extinction).  If I recall correctly, nearly 90% of all species died during this event.

  2. The latest one is Tsunami at Sumatra on 26th Dec 2004. Where we lost the life of 2,60,000.It was possible for me to issue the warning 2 hours before Tsunami struck our coast. I have used the knowledge which I gained by reading the book called earthquake and my simple earthquake alarm only. But my warning was ignored.Still my method of early warning of several types of disasters are not utilized by the concern departments.

  3. You say "latest" disaster but there has NEVER been a disaster in which the whole world was destroyed.

The world it very large. If the Moon crashed into it, the entire thing would still be there, slowly orbiting the Sun.

However, if you refer to the whole world of living things on Earths surface, it could only have been the collision that formed the Moon. If there were any living things on Earth at that time, they would have been destroyed. Since that time there have been no events that destroyed every living thing, or “the whole world” as you describe it.
