Today evening we thrashed our opposition 15-0 for the first time ever (previous record was 15-3). It was a thoroughly sweet victory over a side that went completely out of sorts after their experienced player left due to injury.

What has your sweetest victory been?

  1. Well in 7th grade our team wasn't the best (12-12) and we were playing our biggest rival. We beat them by 2 points. I didn't get to play much that game but it was still cool to watch. It earned us a pizza party.

  2. Well even though many years have passed since my volleyball days, I would say my best games were in Junior High (grade 7-8).  We were a good team and got to play at many tournaments @ A level (top).

My personal sweetest victory would be the game where I earned my nickname "Ace".  We played a team who wasn't the best, and I served out the entire game 15-0.  Ace after Ace, hence the nickname.

  3. 21-3, I got 16 aces

  4. we were playing boys club volleyball to better ourselves for the season. Our H.S. coach signed us up in men tournaments i.e. no high school teams. Anyways we never expected to win any game it was just for experience. we were playing this great team that was kicking our asses and they had a mean jump serve. somehow we managed to stay with them on the second set.and they had point game and we where only one point down. I was libero and my coach made a drastic move and put me to play offside back. as their outside hitter hit i just closed my eyes and the ball hit my shoulder and landed on their side and we tied it up and won. they were so shocked by our win that they loss the third set as well.

  5. The score was  like 24-24 and than like I was in the back of the court and the ball was almost touching the ground and i kicked it over the net and scored a point so we won

  6. My first playoff game as a senior. I smacked two kids in the face.  It was awesome!  Those were the good ol' days.

  7. Costa Rica 3 sets - Honduras 1 set ( 15 - 11, 15 - 8, 12 - 15 and 15 - 9 ) and that made us Panamerican Champions in 1999...

    What a party!

  8. My grade 8 team won only one game the entire season, and that was only because the other team didn't show up!
