Which waters are cleaner?

Question

the carribean [sp?] or the pacific?

we don't know which cruise would have the cleanest water and one passes through the pacific, while the other passes through the carribean... :)

Carribean waters is a 10/10

Pacific Ocean is a 8/10

The Caribbean has the clearer water.  Why would you want to just see water?  Take the cruise that has the better ports of call.

Like everyone said, the Caribbean is a 10/10 for sure! Gorgeous clear turquoise waters and very peaceful, serene and so calming to look at and swim in when you dock at the different islands....and depending on the time of year you go, swimming in the Caribbean will be for sure very warm if in summer.

Stella's right about the Pacific's choppiness and darkness...

Go for an island, tropical cruise if you want clear, gorgeous waters to travel on.

I would definitely cruise in the Caribbean over the Pacific. The water in the Caribbean is the prettiest blue/green you will ever see. The islands you can visit are fantastic.The Pacific is a dark blue color and I think has more wave action.)
