  1. Winds can blow in all directions depending the weather and placement of high and low pressure areas.

    Generally speaking, from west to east. Low pressure zones will have a clockwise pattern of clouds spinning into the low pressure.


  2. It really does depend on what pressure system is present. Around high pressures winds blow clockwise. Around Low pressures the blow anti clockwise. (Counterclockwise for some).

    Low pressures and hurricanes etc etc are associated with strong winds so the general direction nof strong winds is counter clockwise
