in english both the phoneme "ai" and the e ending after a short vowel both give the same sound.  

so Claire and Clare are both pronounced the same.

In my opinion - and it's just an opinion - Claire written this way is more feminine and looks better to the eye, than Clare.

Either way it's a beautiful, beautiful name and all the Claires i know are simply beautiful girls and ladies. well done and good choice.
