  1. Depends on your point of reference. In Australia, it probably goes down, away from the surface towards the center of the earth. If your point of reference is on the other side of the world (i.e., opposite Australia global coordinates), the water falls up, and gets closer to the place's surface, probably without ever reaching it because of inertia and impermeable obstructions. In the U.S. it falls at differing angles, depending on which part of the U.S. you're in.

  10. The same way as it does anywhere else... the corollis effect is too weak to make a difference. That's just an urban myth.

    I was very dissapointed to discover this when I moved to sydney from London 6 months ago.

  11. WELL if percy points at the porcelan down, it goes down, but if I point percy upward it goes up..so it depnds which way percy points at the porcelan,or stevey at the stainless..
