Which way have more powerful sound?

I have a KARAOKE SYSTEM ( karaoke speakers, Mixing amplifier, DVD player...). Should I connect straight from DVD to amplifier to speakers without go through TV OR connect DVD to TV, then from TV to amplfier to speakers. I would like to know which way my the sound beter for SINGING KARAOKE. EXPERTs please. Thanks
