Airline Pilot or Commercial Pilot?

Iv always used Commercial Pilot but Im not sure..

  1. my father is a retired airlines pilot...i dont think they care either way... but i guess commercial pilot is the best....but theyre both basically the same...if you want to get technical its always nicest to add the airlines they fly for


  2. - ah1 may be you mean which one can be read easier? i think Commercial Pilot is the easier one to read than the Airline Pilot.

  3. I dont think your question has anything to do with pronounciation.  If a person is a pilot of a commerical aircraft, then he/she is a Commercial Airline Pilot.

  4. Airline pilot would commonly be a pilot who flies passengers for an airline.

    Commercial pilot would include airline pilots, but could also include pilots who fly cargo aircraft.
